Here are some comments from participants in events:

"I just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for organising such a fantastic event.  As a first-timer,  I was rather nervous about what I was letting myself in for but I was very pleasantly surprised at just how business-like it was. It was definitely worth staying up all night tweaking and blowing up balloons... :-
Well done you.  Can't wait until the next one.    Colette Jones     Power Positive!

What can I say as usual - good event, low cost & enormous benefit to local business.
Peter Connolly - WSI Internet Consulting and Education

All in all a good day, the speakers were excellent and even gained some valuable business contacts from the day.  Wayne Basham of Firbank Chiltern

find advice and help

off to the best possible start.

Justine Ives of Bedford Development Agency commented: "The event proves what a great place
Bedford is with so many budding entrepreneurs starting out"

"I thought this was a very exciting and encouraging event for new businesses in the Bedford area.
It was impressively laid out and full marks to Pam Woods and her team for bringing together so many
good contacts in the same room."
Alistair Burt MP for NE Bedfordshire, Shadow Minister for Local Government & Regeneration

Seminars were attended on marketing, finances and general start-up advice.

Keens Shay Keens' seminar on "How to run your business finances successfully" was very well received. Jeremy Tyrell of KSK said The Start Up Business Fair is a unique opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and new businesses to obtain the support and advice necessary to make a successful start to their business ventures. This fair is a timely addition to the calendar of
business events in Bedfordshire and will be a resource that all new businesses and those
advising them can ill afford to ignore!”

Visitors had the chance of winning a hot air balloon ride with the compliments of the events organisers and sponsors. The winner was Neil A Richmond (7976524867) who is starting a new pain relief business:PBKTECH

All the visiting new business people were invited to the Business Networking Clubs run by Conquest Business Events where they will find a wealth of experience amongst the very diverse membership.

All business people are welcome.
