Central Bedfordshire Breakfast 14th April

This event in Bedford in November was greatly appreciated by buyers and suppliers alike. Some of the organisation will be improved for the next time as a result of the feed-back. Also the Buyers have made a number of suggestions to improve of the way the potential suppliers pitched to them, so we are having talks at 3 of our 2010 networking meetings to feed-back the comments. The meetings will be in Dunstable on the 19th February, in Bedford on 12th March and at the Evening networking club on 16th March. This should help anyone who aims to get more business from large companies.

Network with us for new customers and suppliers, staying in touch with existing contacts and get useful advice and information from our invited speakers.

The club meetings are a relaxed, informal way of meeting new contacts with no forced referrals and no joining fees.

Members do business with each other and refer others for new business in the confidence of having got to know each other. The talks from members or invited speakers help to keep us up to date on local economic issues and enhance our business skills.

Who goes?
A wide range of businesses are represented by decision makers, including Builders,Security Experts, Debt Collectors, Printers, Solicitors, IT Experts, Health Professionals, Sign Makers, Estate Agents, Manufacturers, Police Crime Prevention Officers, Business Link Advisors and District Council Economic Development Officers.

Everyone is welcome.

What happens?
At breakfast clubs, we meet and talk over tea/coffee/juice at 7.30 am, have a cooked breakfast, followed by a talk from a member or an invited speaker and leave at about 9 o'clock. At the evening networking club, we meet at 7pm, over coffee, tea etc followed by a buffet style curry dinner and a talk from an invited speaker. The meeting ends at 9pm. There is no pressure for referrals or to attend .

What does it cost?
£12 per meeting
There are NO joining fees - our sponsors cover the administrative costs.
Special events and seminars will be separately priced.

Video Elevator Pitches
Bring 3 new members to meetings and you automatically qualify for a free 30 second video of your elevator pitch on the clubs website, for a fortnight. This helps people to feel that they know you better than just words on a page. Our business coaches remind us that a very high percentage of communication is non-verbal. Members are responsible for the production of this short video profile, but we will help by bringing our video to meetings and giving you a chance to speak to camera
